HOW THE MOD PROGAM WORKS

Basic panel meters are configured through mod programs from the manufacturers.  These panel meters are purchased from the manufacturer as blank & uncalibrated units.  The mod centers configure signal inputs and scales per customer requirements while conforming to the manufacturer's specifications. As seen here the base meters are begining this process. On this order a custom dial with the customer's logo is being assembeled. The meters are a Yokogawa 250 series Big Look.  The ones on the left have a rating of 5 AC Amps and the ones on the right 150 AC Volts

Many variations of scales (dials, face plates) are provided to our customers.  In the case above the customer requests standard inputs of 5 AC Amps and 150 AC Volts but will have their logo in blue applied to the scale.  For small quantities logos are created on a PC then transfered to the scales.  Such is the case here as Gregg Cox prepares these custom scales for assembly.  For larger quantities an off-set printing press is used.  This requires artwork and engraved plates for the process.

Here are the completed units after assembly.  Each unit is balanced and calibrated and labeled with the appropriate part number, and for Driven Company each is assigned a specific number for additional traceability purposes.
